Private Sector Partnerships for Development
NSI is looking at how partnerships with the private sector can be used to support and improve sustainable development outcomes. This examines challenges and opportunities offered by different cross-sectoral partnership models, and provides recommendations to practitioners and policymakers on how the value of cross-sector partnerships can be maximized for development results. With the support of the Trade Facilitation Office of Canada (TFO Canada), NSI produced a case study on partnership models in the field of trade-related private sector partnerships for development. In addition to this work, NSI has conducted research to better understand how public, private and non-profit sectors derive value through partnerships for development.
